Somewhere along our journey we may lose that sense of awe as we watch our fairy tales turn into tragedies, but we must accept the nettle’s sting because no matter what, tomorrows always arrive.

Yolanda Movsessian is an Armenian poet born in Iran who currently resides in Houston, Texas. She writes poetry and prose. Her work can be found in publications such as Mississippi Review, Synkroniciti and Defunkt magazine.

Mitchell Collins is a Houston-based filmmaker and film composer. In 2019 he received an IdeaFund Let Creativity Happen grant for his upcoming film Seabrook, TX. He received the 2017 HollyWeb Festival Award for “Best Music/Score” for his work on the Dekkoo series Paper Boys and was nominated for “Outstanding Musical Achievement” at the 2016 NYC Web Fest for the same series. In addition to his work as a filmmaker, he also works as a video archivist for the International Space Station Program at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. In 2019 he served on the judges panel of the “Obscure Images” category for Houston Cinema Arts Society’s Cinespace Film Festival. He has an M.F.A in Scoring for Film & Multimedia from NYU and a B.A in Music Composition from UCLA. Mitchell currently lives in Houston with his partner Josie and their dog, Batman.
